Council vacancies

Volunteering as a Trustee on the RSB Council is one of the best ways to help influence how the Royal Society of Biology delivers its charitable aims and acts as a unified voice for biology. This year there were two vacancies on Council, one open to Individual Members of the RSB and one to representatives of Member Organisations. To stand as a Trustee of the RSB you must be nominated by your peers. The election has now finished and a full list of current Trustees is available.

The following resolutions will be voted on by members at the Annual General Meeting:

  1. Approval of the Annual Report and Accounts of the Society for the year October 2018 - September 2019.
  2. Authorisation for Council to appoint haysmacintyre as the Society’s auditors for the financial year October 2019 - September 2020 and to set their remuneration.

Over 100 members and representatives from Member Organisations attended the AGM. Draft minutes are available to download and will be formally approved at the AGM in 2020.
