- 25 July 2013
The UK Bioindustry Association (BIA) is asking for evidence that identifies concrete examples of European rules, regulations and practices where reform could benefit British business.
BIA member organisation BTG is represented on a Business Task Force appointed by the Prime Minister to "take a fresh look at the impact of EU regulations on British businesses", in particular small to medium sized enterprises. The Task Force had their first meeting last week, chaired by Business Minister, Michael Fallon MP.
The task force is taking a pragmatic approach and is looking for fresh and practical suggestions where reform of EU regulations could make a beneficial impact on British business. Areas of health and safety, employment law and company registration have been identified as of interest.
Please send any evidence to EUregulations@btgplc.com by the 23rd August 2013.
