A visit to Park Grass followed by talks from experts at Rothamsted Research.

Join the London branch and the Ecological Continuity Trust (ECT) for a visit to Park Grass, and hear from Andy Gregory and Jonathan Storkey, both Rothamsted Research, as well as Keith Goulding, ECT trustee and Rothamsted Research

Park Grass is a long-term experiment managed by Rothamsted Research, which is registered with the ECT. Established in 1856, it is the longest running grassland experiment in the world originally set up to examine the effects of inorganic fertilisers on agricultural yields. The data accumulated from this experiment makes it invaluable.

Visitors will need to wear sturdy shoes, bring waterproofs, and a packed lunch. There will be the option of travelling by coach from London or making your own way to the site. Those coming from regions outside of London will need to make their own way there. Coach pick up location and details on how to make your own way there will be sent out after registration has closed.
