Exploring the influences of the social determinants of human health and companion animal welfare 


Join us to hear from Sonya McDowall, B.Bus, B.Vet.Technol, Animal Science(Hons) GAICD RVT RVN; and current PhD candidate, School of Psychology and Public Health, La Trobe University.

Sonya's diverse background in human and animal healthcare includes experience in the UK within the NHS and social care, focussing on innovative community healthcare through multidisciplinary partnerships, and veterinary experience in Australia. She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Sonya is studying an MBA and lectures within The University of Adelaide's School of Animal and Veterinary Science.
