Through advanced degree accreditation we aim to:

The advanced accreditation criteria require evidence that graduates from advanced accredited programmes meet defined sets of learning outcomes, including gaining substantial research experience and skills. This period of hands-on research experience is central to advanced accreditation, will usually last 6-12 months, and is an important part of all advanced accredited degrees. This experience will typically form part of the degree as a year in industry, or an integrated master's year; hence Advanced Accreditation is generally awarded to Integrated Masters programmes and BSc (Hons) programmes with years in industry.
