South Wales branch AGM and virtual talk

The online AGM meeting will be followed by a virtual talk delivered by Dr Heather Bonney.

Dr Bonney is the principal curator responsible for the anthropology collections, including human remains, and the senior curator in charge of the anthropology curatorial team at the Natural History Museum in London. She is a practicing forensic anthropologist, specialising in the identification and analysis of human remains in criminal and civil cases. Her many research interests include the analysis of trauma and mechanical properties of human bone. Dr Bonney will provide a fascinating insight into the role of pigs as analogues for human remains in experimental archaeology and forensic anthropology and what should and shouldn't be done with them in this context.

The AGM will take place from 18:30-18:50. This will be followed by a short break, with the lecture starting at 19:00.
